Interior Design and Architectural Drafting
Sarah Fowler Designs is a full-service residential design firm reviewing new build,
addition and extension, deck and porch, full-scale renovation, and comprehensive
furnishing and décor projects. With a keen eye for detail, our experienced team thoughtfully oversees the entire design process – curating everything from architectural finishes to bespoke furnishings, textiles and accessories and one-of-kind elements that bring your vision to life.
Our involvement compasses a role that blends aesthetics with technical planning.
Highlights include interior spatial planning, structural, architectural elements, home extensions, second storey additions, decks, porches, full-scale renovations, custom millwork and furnishings, furnishings, finishes and equipment sourcing, lighting and electrical schematic, interior styling, and colour consultations.

Client Collaboration – Meeting with clients to understand their vision, needs, and lifestyle to create personized spaces.
Design Development – Creating conceptual designs through mood boards, sketches, 3D renderings and drawings.
Material Selection – Choosing furniture, textiles, colour palettes, and materials that align with the design vision and meet project requirements.
Project Management – Managing budgets, timelines, and coordinating with contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure the design is implemented correctly.
Technical & Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring designs meet Municipality by-laws, Ontario building codes and accessibility standards.
Our On-site Design Walkthrough
Our on-site design walkthrough is a professional space review and design consultation, ideal if you want an expert perspective without engaging in a full design contract. During the max. 3 hr session, we focus on understanding your space, your needs, and how to make your rooms more functional and beautiful - without producing drawings or detailed specifications.
We tour your space room-to-room, discussing current layout, flow, lighting, and opportunities for improvement. Based on your goals, we offer style & aesthetic guidance, furniture suggestions, finish ideas, and layout concepts. We'll discuss what works, what doesn't, and how to arrange or swap pieces to enhance function and style. Suggestions on colour schemes, lighting, accessories, and how to elevate the look of your space.
Practical ideas you can implement right away or save for later - no technical plans required. Should any recommended concepts be approved and require technical drawings, these services will be quoted separately.
Based locally, available throughout Ontario - we welcome all project inquires from anywhere. Through the use of virtual design and digital collaborative tools, we bring our full-service design expertise to clients both locally and remotely.

SARAH FOWLER, Founder and Principal Designer
‘Sarah Fowler Designs’ is a Cobourg based residential design firm created by Sarah Fowler. With over two decades of experience, Sarah has honed her skills in various roles and through collaborating with diverse clients on a multitude of exciting projects.
Sarah’s design journey began with a certificate in Design Foundations, where she first discovered her passion for creating thoughtful, functional spaces. Eager to deepen her knowledge and broaden her skills, Sarah went on to complete an Interior Design diploma program that provided hands-on experience in space planning, materials, lighting, drafting, colour theory, and ergonomics.

Currently, Sarah is working toward BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) certifications, which will allow her to take on more technical residential projects in compliance with Ontario’s building regulations. This evolving path has given her a strong foundation in both the creative and regulatory aspects of design, allowing her to offer clients a well-rounded, informative approach to every project.
ROXANA DELL'OSSO Interior Decorator and Design Specialist With certifications in interior decorating from Seneca College and international staging and redesign from QC Design School, I bring a wealth of expertise to every project. As a dedicated member of the Decorators and Designers Association of Canada, I’ve proudly served as Vice President and Director of Affiliates for the Toronto chapter. My professional background also includes graduating from the Dale Carnegie program, renowned for its excellence in consumer relations. Combining 25 years of experience in logistics, marketing, customer service, and project management, I offer a comprehensive skill set that guarantees the seamless execution of exceptional decoration projects.
